Le Thinker

Today we posed max as "The Thinker: :)

and we tried to pose on the ball aswell...with all success comes tiny failures along the way hahah I got on the ball in the end !

If I had a Crystal ball.....

main goals that I would like to set (AND ACHEIVE!) Are:

-Start working on an assesment item as soon as I get it. I have discovered that Animation is not necessarily difficult but it is EXTREMELY time consuming. (If any 1st years are reading, please take heed haha)

-Pass all my assessment. Not that I failed anything last year, I'd just like to keep that up.

-I want to learnt to colour in photoshop !

-I want my drawings to improve. I want them to have life, movement, expression, emotion. I want them to be interesting. I want people to look at them and think, "wow, I wish I could draw like that"

Because that is what I say when I look at everybody else's drawings. I want to get that good and then tell people, "You will draw like that one day! It will happen" then I'd show them my old books and show the progress. I would love to inspire others to be happy within their ability.

Continuing with and Graduating from my QCA Degree will definately be a challenging but worthwhile triumph. I can't wait for my graduation and to show those who thought it wasn't possible that I'd just done what they told me I couldn't do. :)

Well that was a bit of a rant... it's ok tho now , it's over!

11 Second Club February 2010 Winner - Nedy Acet

I was watching a few of the 11second club entrants seeing as I FINALLY have time in my life that isnt spent on the train. HOLY CRUD, i know right! Ok so, this guys name kept coming up as the competition winner (Nedy Acet) he's obviously entered a few ...and won a few. Anywhooo, this one made me laugh and I thought I'd share it with you. I LOVE the animation on the face and head (although it appears that most of the work has gone into actual choreography !) I got a giggle out of it, so I'm sure you will too :)

REALL BIG MISTAKES

....Can be fixed with this REALLY BIG ERASER apparently. I say 'apparently' because I'm sceptical. I rubbed the eraser overmy little brothers arm and he didn't start to disappear. Perhaps I bought a lemon ? Hahah I jsut had to share my incredible discovery (and amazing facial expression) It will be in class for photos and signings later this week. :) ....the eraser..not my face.

Its late, i dont know what made me want to do this.. but i wanna clean it up and paint it and make it pretty. this is the ONE SECOND line test haha. It's on twos. so I only drew 12 frames and it works pretty well ! really excited.

It sounds cliche but... watching a drawing you made, come ''to life'' really is enchanting !

Never experienced something like this before.. I spose it's what they call 'the magic of aniiimattiooonnn'
