Trad. Walk Cycle

HIIIII
Its late, i dont know what made me want to do this.. but i wanna clean it up and paint it and make it pretty. this is the ONE SECOND line test haha. It's on twos. so I only drew 12 frames and it works pretty well ! really excited.

It sounds cliche but... watching a drawing you made, come ''to life'' really is enchanting !

Never experienced something like this before.. I spose it's what they call 'the magic of aniiimattiooonnn'

:D

night all

  2. Yes, as it happens, that is what I, being an intrinsic part of the 'they', call, "The MAGIC of AAAAAAAAAnnnnnimation!"

  3. Hey Shae,

I think this is good. I think the walk cycle is very good and in timing pretty well, maybe it would be helpful to try it at ones and three's even to play with timing a bit, also perhaps try different versions with ones and two's depending upon the actions and timing etc. I think this worked very well for a first go at walk cycles, and I think it's a Muse! I would just suggest putting the camera better and perhaps trying the footage with Premiere or Virtual Dub and copy and past it a few times to create a loop with footage so it can continue through a walk with an animated background etc, and if it works then it's successful, as a good walk cycle should be able to loop easy if the legs and timing have been placed correctly, I think this would be good and perhaps extra arm, eyes and other movements later could make it more animated and appealing!

    I think it's good!

I think you're very talented and you underestimate the quality and talent of the professional standard good work you can complete when you focus and work, ha ha! :)
