I find the story appealing. An anticipation before the turn would sell it better. I think I see an arc with a bit of a squash through the turn but it isn't clear in the high angle choice. The animation on the carrot could also do with an overlapping action moving into a slow anticipation/ ease out for the carrot drop. I laughed when his node fell off.
